Jungle Jack’s Thailand is the Thai affiliate
of Jungle
Jack’s, Inc. (USA), which was founded in 1995 in San Diego, California,
USA, dedicated to the commercial introduction of new and superior palms
and other varieties for both the interior and exterior landscape markets.
Our Thai operation, originally developed as a tropical demonstration garden,
has evolved to the point where it is now possibly the largest single Thai
plumeria cutting exporter to the USA, and a leader in the development of
hybrid palm varieties for a range of climates. With the introduction of
our miniature plumeria varieties in 2007 Jungle Jack’s Thailand has placed
itself on the leading edge of plumeria research and development worldwide.
In the area of palms, 2008 has seen the launch of commercial production
of our initial Syagrus hybrid, ideal for climates ranging from California
to Singapore, called the ‘Coconut Queen’. This palm presents a combination
of grace and elegance unmatched by nearly any other landscape palm while
at the same time possessing a level of durability and hardiness not found
in most tropical palms. More than 20 other hybrids are currently under varying
stages of research and development.
Jungle Jack’s Thailand, Ltd. operates on nearly 30 hectares near Lampang, Thailand, approximately 90 minutes by car from Chiang Mai in northern Thailand.
